Why You Should Avoid Doom At Your Service - Review

Was surprised to see Strong girl Do Bong soon as the FL here. Male lead looks "tasty" as Doom.

Dong Kyung works at a webtoon publishing company as an editor. She is diagnosed with a terminal illness. As her day goes on horribly she sees a meteor shower and wishes Doom fall on Earth and It comes to an end. This falls in the ears of Doom himself. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Doom is fed up being evil and wants out. Whether he gets a chance to do that we'll have to see to find out.

The way Myul mung calls Dong Kyung yobo or jaagi is so cute and funny.

The story progresses very slowly, the other Deity is highly irritating. I don't understand why she needs to make statements like these. I mean what the hELL!

And what kind of deity lives in a hospital as a patient? Is there any backstory to this? In India we do I not have any legends of such deities who will suffer for the sins man commits. Humans suffer or rather reap the benefits of their actions - Karma works on the one who does it, there is no one else who suffers because of that. I somehow could not connect to this aspect. Whatever it was, it did not add any positive to the already sloppy script.

About the other characters:
I don't understand why Cha Joo Ik is so stiff and expressionless. I have seen him in Tomorrow but in this one he is very pale and wooden face.
Hyun - He is such an irritating and indecisive character, selfish to the core
Na Ji Na - I wish she can make a decision for herself.

Every episode seems stagnant, it pretty much is just where it started even at episode 7. By episode 10, you will find yourself in a vicious cycle - the story just goes around in circles, does not move forward even one bit.

The chemistry between Myul Mung and Dong Kyung is great and that is what keeps us "motivated" to watch but after a point, it is tiring and doesn't even follow the regular trope.

After hopping, skipping, and jumping, finally I reached the last episode. Only in this episode do you feel mildly human and relieved that the story is getting over. What a waste of time!
